I am no way following the footprints of those spirutual gurus, but this article is a simple approach on the idea of being good. Read and Implement if you find anything useful.

 The Joy Of Being Good!

What it takes to become bad? Simply nothing, but it takes a lot of character and goodness to become good. The Joy of being good is equally larger as the pain of being bad, but still most of us trudge the second path. Why? It is due to the myopia of short term gain, the second path appears to be the bed of roses to many of us. That’s off course an illusion by which we are allured and get easily trapped into the bait. Though the second path promises short term pleasures and quick fixes, but it can never guarantee you the lifetime pleasure. By choosing the second path we may be overwhelmed by its initial offerings but we have to pay the price for it in future. Hence the second path which appears to be the easier one is actually the tougher one! Conversely the first path may not promise for the short term pleasures but guarantees you sure shot high on self esteem, confidence and also the Peace of the soul. Then why not choose the first path than to become the slave of our own deeds in the second path? Change is always undesirable and human being particularly tends to resist change. Though getting on to the first path is not too difficult, but it’s a matter of will and determination to get on the right track. It’s rightly said in bhagwad gita “Chanchala hi mana, abhyase hi vasham”: means mind is easily enchanted by the lure of the negative, but can be controlled by Practice. One has to change the default programming of his mind to explore the Joy of being good. Tough, but not the toughest! And hence the Joy is extremely larger!!

             WORDS NOT SPOKEN

 

For the words not spoken,
For the things not said,
We do regret,

For the pain not felt,
For the tears not shed,
We do regret,

For eyes not made wet,
We shed more tears,
We curse ourself when nobody is there,

For hearts not touched,
For hands that were never holded,
when they needed us the most,
For not consoling someone when everthing was lost,

For not making them realise our true self,
When after being responsible enough we
did not help,

When we did not made them realise we are there,
After everything we may say we are brave,
But the heart always fear,

When we did not listen to them,
When we were not a good person and they considered us
as a gem,

The heart fears that things will not be the same,
When we think we will surely lose if life is a game,

To be away from them,their affection and love,
And to lose all that we deserve,

So,wake up make your dreams come true,
do things that were never done,
Try atleast...you may fail,
But there will be so much to learn....

                                           AN AWAKENING

Now when i wake up,
I can feel a positive vibration,
Now I have started believing that happiness is an illusion,
I can feel my dreams,my ambition,my passion

Now when I wake up,
I can see that everyday really brings something new,
Things remain same,but the way to look at them changes,
We may write a story,a constitution or just some useless things on the pages

Life is very beautiful,the need is to feel that positivity,
To be good to all,to be polite,to leave behind anguity,
We have one life,why not use it to the fullest?
Why not do good deeds?
As peace of mind,contentment is that one really needs

We all are running behind more money,more fame,
But are shallow inside,
We may pretend to be humble and may be witty within,
But from God...these things we cannot hide,

In those childhood days,my parents told me be true to
yourself and u will get happiness,
I think happiness is what I really want,
So being 'true to urself' is not too hard,
Just tell others what you have in your heart,
Dont ever be a hypocrite,
And trust me,everything will be alright

Do things with true and pure intention,
And you will also feel that positive vibration,
Then life will be worth living,
Life will be no more useless,
It will have a meaning....

        I FEEL I AM BLESSED

I felt i m blessed..even if the hard times come,
I can atleast
face it,
there are people who cannot see this beautiful world,
if somebody will ask them how the world looks?
they wont b able to praise it,

How unfortunate it is?
How their life is?
This thought thrills me somewhere
i am scared,it breaks my heart.
Why God had done this i keep on thinking
What is their fault?

They cannot see the lovely flowers,the rivers,the rain,the sky,
I am still thinking why?
Why God selected them to face the challenge?
Why he is taking a revenge?
I wish i can ask God why this happens?
Do troubles come so that we learn some lessons?

I feel i am blessed I can walk on my own,
i can atleast try to run with this competitive world,
I can see dreams I can atleast try to fly like a bird.
